What counts as an unlock fact?

A reliable hidden-character instruction needs more than a character name or an achievement badge. The official Wiki Survivors page is the roster and character-state source; the official Achievements page is the source for a documented achievement condition, associated map or mode, and any listed reward. Steam can show names and completion state, but a hidden achievement name does not reveal its condition.

The keyword signal for the 9th team leader belongs on this page only. It is a clue about the user question, not permission to invent the exact action required. When a current page does not expose the condition in the supplied evidence, this guide says unknown and gives the reader a source-check path.

02

A safe unlock workflow

Start with the official Survivors roster and identify whether the character is listed as hidden, locked, or available. Then open the official Achievements page and match only the achievement relationship that is explicitly documented. Finally, compare the condition with the current in-game or Steam state. If the two sources disagree, preserve the disagreement instead of making a best guess.

  • Confirm the character identity on the Survivors page.
  • Confirm the achievement condition on the Achievements page, not from its title.
  • Record the mode, map, or reward only when the source states it.
  • Mark a missing condition as unknown and recheck after an official update.

Why this page does not list guessed steps

A hidden unlock is exactly where a plausible-sounding sentence can cause the most wasted time. A title such as 9th team leader may be descriptive, thematic, or shorthand for an action; it is not a complete specification. The page stays useful by showing the evidence route and by linking to the Ghost and Huntress pages once the unlock is confirmed, rather than filling the gap with an invented checklist.

The same discipline applies to rewards. An achievement percentage is evidence of how many Steam users have unlocked something, not evidence of the condition or the reward. Keep those fields separate.

04

After the unlock

Once the character is confirmed in-game, use the Characters index to choose a focused page. Ghost has a dedicated kit and player-experience path; Huntress has skills and upgrades; Synergies is for team-level testing. A verified unlock does not automatically make a character top-tier, so keep the tier rubric separate from access instructions.
