Why this page does not print a price

A static price number becomes stale as soon as a regional sale or store update changes. The useful version of price history is a repeatable path: open Steam for the legal current purchase price, then open SteamDB for historical discount depth and promotion timing. This page intentionally avoids a frozen amount and does not compare third-party key shops.

The Steam release display used across this site is 2026-08-20. That date is separate from the developer announcement dated 2026-08-19 and is not a price-history event. Check the live pages for the current regional currency and promotion.

A quick buying check

Open the Steam listing and confirm the game, region, platform, and current sale status. Then compare the historical discount percentage and promotion dates on SteamDB. If the current offer is not urgent, the history can help you decide whether to wait, but it cannot predict the next sale. Use the live tracker rather than a copied number from an old article.

  • Steam: current legal purchase, region, currency, and platform.
  • SteamDB: historical low discount and timing pattern.
  • This page: interpretation and links, not a live price feed.

Search terms and boundaries

Queries such as Steam key, key price, or the misspelled price hsitory are coverage signals for this page, not permission to turn it into a key-reseller comparison. The safe answer remains the official Steam purchase and a history check through SteamDB. Avoid presenting an unofficial key as equivalent to a storefront purchase or implying that a third-party listing is authorized.
